Basic Information
The Elks National Foundation (ENF), the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, offers several grant types to support community projects, youth programs, veterans, scholarships, and lodge activities.
Community Investments Program (CIP) Grants
The purpose of CIP Grants is to fund local community projects led by Elks lodges to address specific needs, such as veterans' services, youth programs, homelessness, or disaster relief. These grants emphasize active Elks involvement and community impact.
CIP Grant Types

Beacon Grants: Support ongoing community service programs (e.g., food drives, youth mentoring).

Gratitude Grants: Fund lodge-led community events or projects with strong volunteer involvement (e.g., veterans' appreciation events)..

Spotlight Grants: Target specific populations or issues (e.g., youth, veterans, or disaster relief).

Impact Grants: Larger, competitive grants for high-impact projects with measurable community outcomes (e.g., building a community resource center).

Freedom Grants: Freedom Grant projects must serve veterans and/or military members in need of support or services.
Eligibility
- Open to Elks lodges in good standing.
- Projects must involve Elks volunteers (minimum hours vary by grant).
- Funds cannot be used for fundraising, scholarships, or routine lodge expenses (e.g., utilities).
